Bullying is a real issue in this world and the workplace. Bullying can occur at any stage of someone's career and in any age range. Many people believe that by controlling others, that is the only way to survive life on this earth. This controlling behavior destroys the lives of many others. Business owners and those in leadership are put in place to help guide and give direction to those that they have been given the responsibility for. To be a light in a dark world, we must have the right connection. We can’t just plug into any outlet, get connected, and be a light that will draw people out of the darkness. It is our responsibility to shine our light in that dark place. As Christians in leadership positions, we have been given authority on this earth and spiritually, to ensure that things are done properly and God's way. We’re also held accountable for not addressing issues that are harmful to others when we're aware of them. Turning our back on and a blind eye to bullying issues or other ungodly issues in our midst is unacceptable and not God’s way of showing love to others. As Christian business owners and Christian leaders, scripture tells us that we are the light of the world, we are the ones that are called to be life-changing examples, to those that have no hope. What hope can we give someone else if we are hopeless?
