It has been proven that the quality of the environment is an essential requirement for human health and sustainable development. The United Nations plan of action for development in the 21st century, called "Agenda 21", agreed at the "Earth Summit" held in Rio de Janeiro, 1992, reiterates that "human beings constitute the center of concerns for sustainable development. They have the right to a healthy and productive life, in harmony with nature ”. It is the responsibility of the UN and international organizations; provide information on cleaner production processes through the UNEP Clean Production Program. Although the industrial development of a territory can induce a strong socioeconomic reactivation and improvements in the quality of life of the population, it is also capable of causing important changes to the environment and various forms of air, water and soil pollution, depletion of natural resources and their degradation. All of this will have a negative influence, directly or indirectly, on the well-being, quality of life and health of the population.
